Les Crosets is situated at 1600m in a sunny bowl above Champery. The resort is the ideal jumping-off point to explore the whole of the Portes du Soleil – both Avoriaz and Morgins are just one lift away, while further afield Chatel and Morzine just 2 lifts away!

Over the last few years Les Crosets has undergone some major transformation – The Hameau is new Alpine style hamlet with shops, bars, restaurants our new Chalet Hotel – The Mountain Lodge and our ski hire shop. A new skating rink is planned for 2008/09 while Champery is just a cable car ride away and the Thermal Baths in Val D’illiez can be accessed by one of our minibuses quickly and easily. The Post Bus connects Les Crosets with the arriving and departing trains in Val D’Illiez allowing non skiers to explore the whole Valais region with ease.

For a small Alpine resort Les Crosets has a lively après ski scene – starting at the Mountain Lodge – regular live bands will entertain you after skiing, our ice bar is going to be very popular; after dinner the Sundance and Chez Nelly are popular while The Grange offers cocktails in a relaxed sophisticated environment! For those with energy to spare try the long night time sledging and also 3 times a week the lifts are open for evening skiing.

Les Crosets is situated in the heart of the fabulous Portes du Soleil and like Avoriaz offers the benefit of being able to ski to and from your chalet door.

Beginners
The nursery slope is ideally situated right opposite our new Chalet – The Mountain Lodge. This is an ideal learning slope which catches the sun most of the day. Weary beginners only have yards to stagger after each lesson back to the comfort of The Mountain Lodge! Under the watchful eyes from the ESS-Les Crosets ski instructors, beginners will soon be moving off the nursery slope and onwards and upwards into the Portes du Soleil Intermediates

Les Crosets is in the centre of a large sunny bowl. Chairlifts access all points – Mossette over to Avoriaz, Crosets 2 to Champery and Point de l’Au over to Champoussin. There are various choices of blue, red and black runs back to Les Crosets. The piste back to the Mountain Lodge is either a blue path through the trees or the FIS race piste from Crosets 2. The Super Park offers some interesting challenges but be careful some of the jumps are huge!

Advanced
Situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil and offering full ski in ski out, Les Crosets gives advanced skiers the edge – be the first up the mountain to carve up the corduroy on Mossette – or after a snowfall get the first tracks down the couloirs. The classic Morgins off piste is just 1 small drag and 1 chairlift away from The Mountain Lodge, while the Haute Forts over in Avoriaz are just 2 lifts away. There is a variation to the last run back to the Mountain Lodge, steep off piste through the trees – but bewarned you’ll be in full view of the Ice Bar outside the Mountain Lodge!

Ski School
The ESS (Ecole de ski Suisse) offers a full range of adult and child ski and snowboard courses in Champery. Group lessons generally start at 09.30 on Monday and are for 3 hours. The ski school also operates a ‘kids club’ for children aged 3 to 7 years old with a choice of full or half days. More details available at www.esschampery.ch

Ski Hire
Our new Ski Hire shop is opening in Les Crosets just a few yards from The Mountain Lodge. For the 2008/09 winter season we have teamed up with Rossignol and offer the full range of their skis within our rental line up. The mutix is the new revolutionary ski with interchangeable arms that change the performance of the ski. The Zenith is an all round piste ski while the Bandits continue their dominance in the ‘free ride market’. We stock a complete range of boots and also include lady specific and child friendly models. We also stock have a range of Rossignol snowboards, boots and bindings.

Our facility is staffed by qualified technicians and is equipped with state of the art ski repair and servicing equipment.

Children
