Morzine,
Lech and Champoluc
Flights
Flights to Geneva (for Morzine, Champoluc) and Zurich (for Lech) are all
on scheduled Swiss Airlines, British Airways and Easyjet services from
London Heathrow, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh,
Jersey, Belfast and Dublin. Scheduled flights offer quicker check in,
punctuality, and a high level of in-flight service with a lot more seat
room (Easyjet do not offer any inclusive in flight catering; however snacks
and drinks can be bought from the Easy Kiosk during the flight). Flights
to Norway are to Oslo or Oslo Torp (for all resorts) are with scheduled
British Airways, Scandinavian Airlines or Ryanair services from Manchester
or London airports. Flights to Denver for Breckenridge and Vail are scheduled
carriers. BA operate a direct service from London Heathrow. Regional flights
via Chicago are also available. The transfer time to both Breckenridge
and Vail is under 2 hours.
Transfers
Transfers to all our resorts are by private minibus or coach. However
self drive hire cars are available as an alternative at no additional
cost (minimum of 2 persons).
The timings of our flights and the short transfer to Morzine often allow
for 7 full days skiing. Charter flights from London Gatwick, Manchester,
Birmingham and Glasgow are also available.
Self Drive
For those who want a little independence Morzine, Lech and Champoluc are
easily accessable by car. All resorts have reasonable covered parking
close to our chalets and hotels. We can provide Channel crossings and
detailed route maps from your home direct to your chalet or hotel.
Minibuses (Morzine and Breckenridge)
Our minibuses are modern regularly serviced vehicles fully equipped for
driving in Alpine conditions and comply with local regulations.
Your Financial Security
Alpine Tracks are members of The Travel Trust Association (Membership
Number R7251). When you book your holiday all monies are placed in Trust.
These monies are then release when you complete your holiday. You will
receive an insurance certificate along with details of the scheme when
you book your holiday.
